ive seen the BMI keiichi's drift bible and my car from what i see is my car catagorized under the understeer/underpowered car.

No, it sounds like you don't know and LSD is not the kind of drug you buy

Maybe you should just sell your car and quit the car scene if you think you should learn from DVDs and magazines...

And please read up on what a LSD does and explain. Hell, just start your PS2 up, I bet you learn all your shit from there anyways

get an fc then you have to addon the costs of maintaining it. plus i don't want to see wat you are gonna do to a poor fc...........so here is the better investment. invest in something called knowledge.....

An LSD is beneficial to all cars regardless of whether it's FR, FF or AWD. According to Drift Bible, your car is a car that can't drift.

i would have explained earlyer, but i had to go to work so i was in a rush.

first off KD, yes you have a point, people are like that, and if i made it sound like i did, i appologize for that. but, i do not learn EVERYTHING from mag/movies. i find things out that way and reserch it myself if something doesnt make since or it just doesnt sound right. look, im still learning , and will continue to learn about the automotive world.

and LSD stands for Limited Slip Diff, i have known that for quite a while, as you do to. and if it makes you feel better, ill look it up myself and how that will benifit for my car. but, what i wanted it to be put was "i really dont want LSD on my FF car right now, or i may never get one".

as for the FC, sure, i wouldnt mine having one, but not right now. its just something that has been rambling in my mind for a while and i may or may not get one, time will only have to tell.

plus, this thread is ridiculous, but it doesnt really surprise me anyways. oh yea, i have about a page and a half of why suspenion hurts between pho and lum's post, and something else i dont care about.

thats all i have to say right now.

You know, people are bashing you just because you seem like you dont know a lot about cars, which is ok, everyone starts off clueless. But seriosuly, just a muffler wont do much for you, with the motor you're sporting, a cat back wont do much either. A bucket seat is useless without a harness, especially when you're planning on getting a new steering wheel? And you'd proabably end up investing more than half the cars value on a bucket seat because if you get something like APC or brands like that then good luck in an accident. $70 for tires will cover for one corner only, and it's probably used. Wipers dont help you go zoom zoom. Your car is FF I believe? So whats the point of a spoiler then? A speed chip on E-bay that gives you 20 ponies for 10 bucks?!?!? Dayuummm, my air freshener must give me 30 then. People are just teasing you telling you to get a LSD. Dont believe everything you read. Buyer beware man!! Buyer beware... especially on E-bay.

Initial D is cool, but in reality, it's not as simple as "giving the handbrake a lil tug when you're entering the corner to make your car slides a bit so it's COOL" haha Chapman

Just face it, it's just plain stupid to work on a 323 and I hope you'll take our comments, nothing personal, but we just dont want to see that you'll be greatly dissapointed when you've poured all your money into this thing and you dont get back anything close to what you deserve.

Still a good starter car though, and in the end it's your ride so do whatever you like.

... i completley see your point. and your not really bashing me at all, because your right, i know now that everything i wrote on my site is bull. ill get around to changing what i wrote when i get a chance. i know alot now then what i wrote down on that site three months ago.

the spoiler is stupid becasue it will put downforce on my rear, which i need a lot of weight on the front, i figure not to much becasue alot of weight on my front end will put stress on my tires/ brakes when i slow down.

i just look at my car as a "fun car" for now. its just a project to my eye and ill wanna do to it whatever i want.

from what i hear, mufflers are pointless becasue its just noise and it has no purpose for my car. if i want something like that, ill just buy a .99 cent tin coffee can in stick it at the end of the exaust.

my cousin told me alot of good things to "improve my car" which in other words he "bashed" what i have written down on my site and told what i should properly invest in than cheap imitations.

the wipers where just something that need to be replaced, like my fuel filter/ altenator belt.

and i feel better that people on this thread (if you anyone is one of them) dont wanna see me act like a fool into putting "unessesary" upgrades to my car for no reason other than, "well that looks taigt, does it go as fast as it lookes". so i thank you.

and more importantly, book smarts and driving smarts are completly two different things. yea, i read how to drift in an ff car, but can it be done in my car, or can it be done the same way or in a different way. maybe/maybe not, the only real test is to find out if my car can. i did with some room i could find on my local dirt road (in the middle of the afternoon, yea not a good idea when its busy at that time) just to see what my car balance is like. but im looking for a dirt area in my area so i can go all out at, just to see what i am capable of doing, practice wise that is.

Book smart = Drive smart

Save up for a trip to Toronto if you wanna learn how to drive

http://www.bmw.ca/drivertraining/dt...asp&lang=en

You should just;

1) Take the course(s)
2) Practice on 323 and do NOTHING to it cept maintance
3) Save up for something that's "worth" modding (don't have to jump on a band-wagon, just do something you know a lot of)

wow, im am impressed. it lookes nice. i kinda wish it wasnt too far though.

yea you need booksmarts=drive smarts, but they need to be balanced. you cant rely on one with out the other, and one cant get stronger with out the other. that is my view.

our "race tracks" are in big ovals full of outta work rednexz who get drunk and say "taht tehr jeff g0rd4n is a fast sumabach, throw me nuthar budd light bo yehaaaaaawwwwwwwww there tehy go takin a left, good god their fast".

ah, the good old south.
