well with the mr2 i have been able to do a few things i wasnt able to do before ex. beating w-ind guys and such

and it looks cool (black with gold rims is awsome )

MR2 is a good car...with its fast start up + its excellent handling in dry courses...the only weakness is the weak 5th gear but I think it is easier to block in straight ways than in corners...excellent turning makes it easy to block in corners...

btw, who plays rain anyway?

Thats why if you're a serious MR2 driver(like yours truly), you practice wet mpore then dry ^_^. I pity the guy that takes me to a 'wet' course for and 'easy win' but then finds that I can control my car and still block him for the victory!:

By the way, I'm gonna make a 2'24 Akagi DH MR2 video this Friday if I can have a good day playing ID.

I think on select courses the mr2 is a good battle car. but over all for a 5 gear battle car I would go with an evo3 or a 180sx. the 180sx is a little easier to control. fast as snot off the line, and basicly does excedinly well on most courses only courses it doesnt do well on is iro and happo. shomaru is a problem for alot of cars, but then again if an rx8 takes a 5 gear car to shomaru, its a fish, so whatever

on the other hand, the mr2 also does well on akagi like the 180, akina, same thing. but the aside from happo and iro. it kinda lacks something for shomaru, and tuchi. both those courses require a strong 5th gear. which the mr2 lacks, and also the mr2 is a wee bit to slidy for a noob, you have to have really excelent skills in order to get a decent time

just my opinion though

MR2's startup negates 180's SLIGHT advantage

Toss up for #1 here... 180 has about a second on the MR2, but MR2 DOES have start up...

Shomaru is quite an interesting course. Sure, MR2 is damn horrible here. But then again, its not hard to simply win startup and block. So I guess, all that matters is the startup here.

Keep your eye on the MR2 folks... It keeps going up in the rankings. If you'll notice, since the last time the IR was updated, the MR2 has now hit mid-'58 on Akina DH, making it a VERY formidable opponent there.

I've beaten 4ever (from toronto, guy that runs almost the same shit as me) in ITR vs ITR

also rx7 vs rx7 against kennedy but he said he shifted wrong...

Akagi UH, I've beaten many a car off the line in the left lane in the MR2.

And Evo 3 actually sucks alot on Tsuchi. Go check InitialD.org. Its got like 160 points one way and 156 points the other way. 180 has like 160 one way and 167 the other way. MR2 has like 120-130 X_X.
