like kennedy, at end of white lines i break downshift. get around 101-103 at exit sometimes with small wall tap.
4th gear is ok man, although 3rd is better, you can still get like 39.3 or even .2 with 4th.
Now whats really in question is 2nd gear eh?

the guy in the 4 course video does it...
In theory I think its good.
I mean you get a longer time in 5th (all the way to the turn), quick brake +2nd then full gas and 3rd then 4th...

nonono, 2nd MIGHT be faster, 1st would be too slow I think...
although I accidentally went to 1st on happo today and still got a 33.3 cp3...
and he gets like a 34.7 or .9

I tried the 2nd gear thing today. Didnt work too well cuz i was focusing too much on shifting gears properly that i messed up my line majorly. Only pulled off a 40.4 for CP1... sooo slow. It seems to work decently well, i just gotta get a hang of it first.

2nd gear, works well, your speed decreases faster then braking.... but only if you gear down fast, if your like me and are afraid of hitting into 1st..... then you'll slow your shifting down to make sure, that is where it can get slower for you... i dont like going to 2nd gear on iro tho, too hard to keep the all important line ~_~
