... you cant do that scappy, youll get sent back at the border soooo fast. Like it was said before, please do your research, all current lancer evolution models are illegal in canada due to bumper laws however a few WERE sneaked up when it just came out in the US.

... go join beyond.ca, post there and see what type of flames youre going to get. seriously, if everyone could do it you would see an evo around every block. you will never and i mean never be allowed to drive an evo up from the states.

^ seems like someone can't admit that they're wrong. Seriously, smarter people have tried this shit and failed. Like I said, join beyond.ca, a thread about importing an evo into canada pops up like every week. They've brought up every point that you've brought up and none of them ever worked. Customs ain't that dumb.

well i was just letting you know so you can save all the hazard in figuring everything out on your own.
I'll tell you right now, there are a handfull of EVOs registered in canada under the title "Lancer". Cause trasport canada was too dumb to realize that it's a completely different car. They soon figure that out and put the EVO under the "inadmissible" colume. So no one can ever register another EVO in canada again (at least every EVO up till misu canada starts selling them nationally ). If you are lucky you might be able to find one of the 5-7 EVOs thats already registered IN CANADA. That's the only way you can have the car under your name and have your own insurance (again, in canada).
so go research more before you decide what to buy with that 35k. It's alot of money for a first car, spend it wisely
again... GOOD LUCK
btw: dont start another thread on beyond about importing an EVO... cuase i'll just go close it and ban your ass
