This is why that's bullshit.

MLB, NBA, NHL, and virtually every other sport game other than racing COMBINED do not equal the sales of football games.

It isn't financially worth EA to buy their "sole" liscenses.. for what? They already get a large share of those small markets; what EA just did was get the ENTIRE share of THE market.

They will NEVER be able to buy exclusive rights to car companies simply because that means they will be able to put in damage, which car companies will never do, and car companies get huge amounts of money from everyone to use their liscenses. That's fucking laughable.

EA just spent an ENORMOUS amount of money to buy the NFL's liscense, I doubt they have the money to really buy anything else outright, and again - not worth it.
