Man, you guys are so weak sauce. When I was in gr 4, we played pokemon cards for keeps each battle YO. After I win battles.. I make my own little booster packs and sell em for 5$ ea. Good shit yo after selling 300 cards HAHA. Jay's pog collection is real nice, I should go jack some, sometimes.

Anyone remember when the charizard hologram was 100-300$?

anyways the last time I was REALLY hard into magic was during the ice age era. I had a nicely set up blue black red deck

6 dual lands. 2 blue red 3 black red and one blue black. took about 6 turns for set up but if you didnt kill me by turn 5 it was over

but yeah I can remember when a shivan dragon was AT LEAST 50 bucks. cards like polar kraken and baron sengir (one of my personal fav's) we're going for 75 each the whole set of ice age when it hit was worth a sizeable chunk of change

one of my highschool buddies still plays and competes in tournies (he went down to the states for the world finals... grand prize of 100g I guess he never won)

all the new sets are ghey imo
