Step up your game.

After you learn the basics of basics, you must learn proper car control.

1) Wheel control, not all turns are just full left, full right etc. Must gradually turn a little bit, little bit then all the way.

2) Brake control, full brake, hard brake, long holding brake, must utilize this

3) Throttle control - Initial D Arcade has 8 stages of throttle depression, utilize it. Some turns you can gradually step on the gas or hold it half way for a bit.

I would assume anyone that drives a real car knows that its not just off gas or full gas.

This is why you don't hear many pros slamming the pedal down, there is rarely a moment (infact none that I can think of) that requires the gas to be fully depressed at a precise moment.

I usually do a little bit then full gas, this is because I know if I full gas at that moment, I will hit the wall but I don't want to lose anymore speed so I gas a little till I can feel where to full gas.
