The date is set, 9/14/2005 in Japan, on DVD.

It should be called FF7:We Want More Money, because that's really all it is. Every FF7 fanboy in the world, god knows how many there are, will flock to see it >.>

You make me sick. FF7 was, and still is the best final fantasy game made.

For a storyline, FF7 is indeed the best.

For a Love story, FF8 is the way to go.

FF7 has an almost non existant love story, guy loves girl, girls dies and gets talked about like 2 times? Dude wtf.

But anywhooo thats just talking about the ones i liked, i did not like FF9, didnt enjoy little short freaks with tales and shiet, and FF10 bothered me. Hate the sphere lvl BS

FF8? Love story? I laugh at the thought of putting those two terms in the same sentence. It was just stupid, the game focused all its energy on promoting the love story (unlike FF7, which still had some success w/ their love theme regardless of the fact they didn't center the game around it), but FF8's seemed far too overly dramatic and sudden to be enjoyable.

The game can practically be summed up:

Squall: "....." --(change to disc 2)--

Rinoa: "Aw, c'mon" --(change to disc 3)--

Squall: "I love you SO much" --(change to disc 4)--

Couple: "We're in love!"--beat the game--

Insert an annoying battle system, and a recurring theme of chasing a sorceress around the entire game (sometimes a *different* sorceress, oooh ahhh), and there you have Final Fantasy VIII.

IMO, for the mainstream series titles, it was all downhill for FF after VII, though VII's massive popularity was really what started their rapid decline. FFXI did good, but it would have done just as well with any other name, if you ask me.

The reason why ffxi was crap, was because it felt like you fought the same monsters for 50 levels... I mean, you walk right outside the town into the noob zone, and its like.. wee Mandragoras, and little rabits. You go to an exotic high level island (Kazham), and its like.... wee Mandragoras lol

I thought ff8 was ok, but... 7 was definitely better. 10 was cool until you had the main character hitting with a sword for 55,000 every time.

Hey, I love love stories. No way was FF7 the best final fantasy game. FF3(FF6) was by FAR the best ever.
