[got them from Matt off MSN].

Firstly, big hand to everyone who participated and worked at the tournament =D Unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of the hard work put into it, but hopefully if there's another one [] I will be able to.

1st) Corey (Razor - kishu)
2nd) Phomaniac (kishu)
3rd) Spoon_EK9 (KD - Firemen)
4th-last) Some other guys.

*Notable: phr00t tells me he got 3rd =P

Anyway, I was pretty close on my estimates ^_^. Thoughts and comments about the final day can go here.

Yeah during the entire tournament, I lost 1 battle to PhoManiac at the very end.... it was Happo Outbound and he wanted music lol...

SPOON WTF
I think he got very tired at the end...
lost concentration
and I kept him up all night haha

Tony should have been eliminated but Steve left, Drew & Tony battle for his spot. Tony ends up getting 2nd and $60....

Phoker .... man o man, what a guy.

Best matches were not on vid.
My iro dh dry vs PhoManiac, his attempted reverse then me passing then reversing him on last jump, yeah not on tape.

Spoon_EK9's glitch altezza smaking into my sil80 on usui? not on tape

more later

ssjlink - you're aware that you didn't have to pay to enter the 2nd round of the tournament right?

anyways, I believe that the lesson to be learned here is that you don't cheat the system, getting into loser's bracket on purpose won't get you anywhere, relying on boost doesn't work, etc. Just pure skills baby.

2nd, don't give up - I've seen miraculous come backs out of no where.... they consisted about 40% of the battles in the tournament.

and....

Tony practiced his asss off. He deserves that shit. dont underestimate him

Posted by Rocky on Apr5, 04 10:35pm:

Tony can do 35's on Iro, anyone who can do that must be pretty good IMO =) Tony is 2nd in Kishu for Iro DDH, give or take Wes anyways, so I figured he'd do quite well overall.
