New Lancer WRC

Maybe this could be a model for the Evo 9... looks nice XD cept the spoiler placement, kinda makes it look funny

Its not really a new one, its more of a new design on a previous WRC Mitsubishi (the '03). During Rally New Zealand, they had an interesting part of the show talking about this very car.

Firstly, the spoiler has been moved closer to the rear windshield to increase aerodynamics. Also, you'll notice huge lips around the wheel wells, those are to increase airflow and help cool down the brakes. As well, the entire body has a much more rounder shape it to it (everything from the doors to the hood) in order to [again] increase aerodynamics. Mitsubishi has been doing pretty poorly in the WRC this year, but its more so a test year to get back on track. Mitsubishi used to be the #1 team, led by WRC "Hero" Tommi Makannen (sp?).

Whoa o_o... yeah, i watched the WRC on sunday and they were going over the thing... now that i look at it again, the back is lancer like.. not evo like >_>...
