Need Advice for a New Car
Just curious if anyone can give me some tips or advice on a secondary car, preferrably one maybe similar to the RX-8 (if not...that's cool). I'm using an RX-8 Type S right now with about 350k tuning points, I pwn on Shomaru/Usui/Happogohara/Tsu, but usually get gip out on Myogi by Cappucinos and Skylines (forgot which one...) not sure why I get beaten by the Skyline but I do...>> And usually the RX-8 understeer get me the most on Akina, and I never won a race on Akina Snow in battles yet...
I like to battle a lot, though personally I had two cars in mind already, GDB or EVO IV. But the only thing I figured was that they are grip cars unlike the RX-8...ionno >>. Uhhh, advice?
What is with people and picking course kings for every single course? Pick a decent car and make yourself good on these other tracks -.- Anyway, grab a Celica since it'll help you with your troubling Akina Snow.. The Evo 4 and GDB are both good cars; Evo IV is probably the best all arounder, and the GDB is an excellent battle car. Its a matter of preference, appealing to how you play and what not but, I'd probably go with GDB I think.

RX8 is the best all arounder.. but if u want akina snow.. get GDB, cause it pwns start up and is mildy good everywhere.

Advice?
Find a car that matches your driving style or one that handles the way you like it and stay with it. Practice on all courses until you can do them all in your sleep. The car's only as good as the driver, so it doesn't matter which one you pick.

every car has its strength and weakness and it is for you to decided what you want to be good at. For battle cars GDB is a very good all rounder car but it will be dominated by kings of each course but its your choice which car you find comfortable with because sometimes the recommended cars might not match your driving style as Flame stated

the guy behind is the same problems... its not like "hey the rx8 is sliding around for some reason. time to pass, BOOM yay i passed him without slaming into the wall i can win!!" no if the other car passes, it will likely hit the wall and then will be going alot slower then rx8... but if the rx8 lets anyone pass him its already beat with skill before the race. rx8 isnt that bad on akina snow.... one of the better FR

>>...all I get raced on Akina Snow are from 4WD users..mainly Celica GT-Fours. Anyways, I think you're right, so I've decided to just stick with the RX-8. So now I'm just wondering if you guys got any tips for me on stages like...Akina and Akina Snow...
akina is hard for you, all i can say is double down and take the insde then up gear again.
akina snow is easy... its actually hard to pass someone who knows what the fuck their doing, double shift down brake and turn the wheel slightly, you will slide through the turn, timing is key, that is what can determine your line, good line = not passed.

Ah I see, see on Akina, I usually shift down only once and try to drift inward, usually in more of a feint drift way, though I had a tendency to smash into the wall before I finish...>.>, yeah maybe double would be better instead of one. Interesting tech with Akina snow, thanks I'll try that.
