-- is it cheap to...... (http://kishu.ca/forums/showthread.php?threadid=81)

Question is it cheap to......

is it cheap to block someone in the beginning of a race? i pissed some guy off BAD doing this, but my friend told me it was cool.

Posted by DaSkinny on Jan27, 04 7:17pm:

Why would it be cheap to block someone, if you do it in mid race, why not during the beginning?

the guy i was facing said i didnt give him a chance to reach full speed or something...

Simplest thing to do is laugh in his face and call him a n00b.

If he is better than you, even if he doesn't catch you on the start he can still win.

But, if he complains about being blocked at the beginning, then he's just a noob trying to fish.

hmmmm i dont really care if it happens to me, but i try to stray away from doing it to ppl i know?...... and well, i dont really need to do it to ppl i dont know cuz well..... they usually cant shift... but its ok to do it, say your taking the better line!! and your car happens to be in the way of that line!! ;D or ...... "this is the same line i use in TA, i race like i race in TA"

Just Say you were "Taking the Best Line"

Sometimes this is tru. Akagi it is, hell most courses are.

Just like Luminous said, IF he was better than you, he should of been able to pass you, while you were blocking.

its not cheap...i do it all the time

Really, if you're gonna battle wouldn't you *expect* to be blocked if you're behind? o.O

Well Blocking is aa Major part of v3 now.

Especially the Way Tournies will run now.

Cuz the new 2 courses are somewhat narrow tournies are decided by Chasing/distance.

Anyways blocking will always be part of the game.

what a n00b the good racers are harder to block and will pass you when you least expect it. maybe he couldnt reach full speed because he cant get past you? thats his problem not yours

Posted by yuvster on Sep11, 04 4:26am:

i gota agree wif that....but....occasionally i really get pissed when f**kers ram u intentionally when hey can't catch up with u(they do that at sharp corners)....any advice??
