I'm wondering why you hate the mr-s while the mr2 is kick ass. Are they not pretty much the same.
In your opinion what do you think the D means in project D as well as initial D
btw, I'll answer these when I'm not busy

got a parts list for S15 and Spirit? ^.^
o yea, another one, whats machine gun shifting?
1)MRS sucks cause its better than MR2 at nothing and has no real reason for being in the game. However, it does look good.
2) No idea what D stands for but its gonna be more in depth than just "drive" or "drift"
3) parts = go with whatever looks best
4) Machine gun shifting = going 6-5-4-3-4-5 or something to that extent really fast for a turn.
ex: happo 1st hairpin inbound.

no and nah. wouldnt explain project d. i expect it is the same meaning in both of them. project d's goals lie in destroying all.

if it did turn out to be some stupid shit like drive ...
I'd lose all faith in initial D...
What "D" means is apparently a secret only Ryosuke knows. I've heard rumours he might say something to Takumi soon in the manga..
My question(s) for Razor is:
-> How do you think people "improve" at a game like this? Is it through constant time trials? Is it through watching other people play? Is it through doing everything yourself? Through battling? Do you have to know what "wut gay" means? I'm not sure.
I ask this because I find it amazing how some people can improve so rapidly in one place, while everyone else is left behind and doesn't really get any better, or everyone stays at the "same" general level and nobody gets and better, or there are 25+ highly skilled players in one area.
-> How do you do the Iro jumps : ?
I'm stuck with a great CP1/CP2, but my CP3 is about a second and a half faster than yours in one of your 2'35" videos. Gas off in the jumps, or slight braking? What about the long straight where you reach 130~... hard brake? Wall contact OK? I know about "grinding" but is it nesscary for 2'36"?
Thanks~!

you're still playing v2?
anyways, the best way to improve is get a good video, so you know what you're doing.
Next is spending money.
Play it once, note the turns where you screw up and think about ways to get the maximum speed out of the turn.
Sometimes you can be faster than the video (it should only be used as a guide)
Next, I have no 35 videos... o_O....
and the straight reaching 130? you mean the beginning? I don't really remember.... either beginning or end right?
beginning = shift to 3rd.
Jumps I just ungas all of them. But if you find that you can't do it and need to tap brake, thats fine too cause the same times can be reached.
Grinding as in getting closer to apex as possible? yeah, do that but don't touch walls.

Thanks. Money isn't a problem because I work at the arcade, so I play for free I'm just not a guy who likes to go to malls, so I won't play much except when I work.
I meant the second straight after CP2 tho, but I sorta understand.
Our arcade doesn't have V3.. Namco said they "don't have enough machines" -_- Fucking bullshit.

I was just wondering but if you're against a really good person and he's like right on your ass coming up to a corner.
Do you think one tactic could be to purposely slow down even more so than usual moments before the turn? Since in a battle it is usually only possible to pass the opponent on the inside therefore having the need to turn earlier.
Well if the runner had purposely slowed down before the turn, it may disrupt the chaser's rythm and crash them to the inside inside wall? It is a risk but i was just wondering if it would work.
Good example is S curves on akina.
