So I got bored today and decided to head over to Starbucks near Miramar College for a white chocolate mocha and a piece of lemon bundt cake. I get my goods than proceed outdoors to the available seating. I am minding my own business when all of a sudden this strange asian girl sitting across from me asks "Hey, what's your nationality?" So I reply "I'm Hungarian..." The conversation than went on like this:

Her: "So who are you waiting for?"

Me: "No one."

Her: "Oh, mind if I sit with you?"

Me: "Not really."

*She gets up from her table and sits down at mine*

Her: "Wow, look, we have the same cell phone!"

Me: "Yeah... We sure do."

Her: "How long have you had yours?"

Me: "For about a year I think?"

Her: "So what are you doing tonight?"

(This girl hasn't even told me her name yet and she is shaking as if nervous)

Me: "I'm just going out with a bunch of friends."

Her: (with excitement) "Oh can I come with?"

Me: "Uhh no?"

Her: "How come?"

Me: "Because I don't even know who you are. And besides, it's kinda just my close friends."

(At this point I realized this girl had some major issues with depression and self conciousness. I didn't want to say anything to upset her but at the same time I wanted to get out of the situation as soon as possible)

Her: "Oh... Ok, that's fine. So what are you doing after this?"

Me: "Going home."

Her: "Oh, where do you live?"

Me: "The barracks."

Her: "Do you mind if I come with? I bet you know a lot of single guys."

Me: "Trust me, Marines are not the kind of guys you want to be involved with."

Her: "Oh sure I do, they're hot."

Me: "Uhhh..."

(Yesss!!! My phone is ringing. I answer it and it's my buddy that did my motor swap, greg. Luckily he lives directly across the street from the Starbucks I was at. The object is to end the conversation as if I need to go somewhere immediately.)

Me: "Hey man, I'm right across the street from you."

Greg: "Oh cool, you want me to come over?"

(The girl is attentively listening to my conversation but pretending to make a call on her phone while waiting.)

Me: "Ummm... Nah man, I'll meet you there. Actually let me call you in 5 min."

Greg: "What's wrong man?"

(I hang up my cell phone)

Her: "So is that your friend? Is he coming over here?"

Me: "No, uhhh, I gotta go meet him somewhere, it was nice to meet you, bye."

I get up hastily and grab my half eaten cake and coffee and start walking quickly to my car. As I am doing this I see her approaching another Marine who was walking by (I could tell he was also a Marine by his haircut, we were not in uniform. Also, Marines can just tell who else is one by instinct.) and she says "Where are you going? Can I come?" He than looks at me since she just got up from the table I was sitting at and I gave him the look and shook my head no to him signaling to gtfo. He rushes to his car as well and she commences to knock on his window. I got the hell out of there and drove across the street to Barnes and Noble and called my buddy Greg to let him know where I was, than I explained to him the incident. He than described her before I had a chance to and told me to run for my life since she got him once before like that. He was coming out of Albertsons and she asked him for a ride to Ralphs which is across the street. He figured "Eh, why not, it's hitable." She ended up getting his number and repeatively called him till he submitted to go to a movie with her. While they were in the theater she kept leaving and coming back in a different outfit. She was actually going to the surrounding stores and buying brand new stuff. She eventually decided to take off all but her bra and undies right in the middle of the theater. this kind of freaked Greg out and he ditched her when he found the opportunity. The follwing day he was outside working on his car. He walked into his garage to pick up his valve cover than turned around and there she was. After he got her to leave, she called him later that night but he had a girl over to answer the phone for him. Once Mia (the crazy girl) called Greg's phone and the girl answered, Mia would hang up immediately. The second time Mia called the girl answered again and she asked for Greg. the girl than said "Why the hell are you calling my b/f?!" After that he never heard from her again. So Greg eventually came over and we walk over to my car and talk for a little while in the parking lot. After about 2 minutes this guy in an SUV rolls up and says "Hey what are you guys doing?" and I say "Just talking." and he says "Well, I'll give you $20 for your spot." I took the guys money and pulled out right away. As I pulled out another spot opened up behind us. I felt kind of bad taking the guys money but I kind of need it and I guess it doesn't mean as much to him if he's willing to blow it on a free spot anyway. So Greg and I talk a little more than I headed back to base. When I got back I just had to tell my other buddy bernardo about what just happened. As soon as i was finished and hung up another Marine in the parking lot that was working on his bike nearby was like "Hey, are you talking about that crazy asian chick with the skirt and the funny walk? That girl is crazy man, she stopped me out in front of Best Buy and begged for me to take her home with me."
