So, two posts, your own experience, and they're instantly bad? Not to mention, one of the complaint threads seems to be about nothing relating to the quality of their work, just the mistake made by this Adam fellow. And that was in early 04 I believe, judging by the post date... Didn't read the following posts, but I assume they're just talking about the issue.
I've heard good things about them from people who've gotten rebuilds and what not too, so I'd rather not just start flaming without knowing at least two sides to the story =P

i told you about my bad experience already. only 2 threads? there are waaaay more than just 2 threads that have bad rebuilds from adam. just look at adam talk to max, he is unknowledgeable. his porting is CRAP. look at the facts. his fd doens't run, he is basically tricking people to think he has a a running 20b fd that makes so much power. that was the first link, the 04. the chris ng one was rather recent. and adam comes in and talk. who is the one that is quick to judge without reading everything. when adam talks it is like swift, makes and idiot out of himself, avoids questions. actually i read your post more closely, do you KNOW who adam is? he is the OWNER of rx7 spec. rx7 spec cuts corners, does sloppy jobs, and are not that knokwledgeable. i dunno that much about cars, and the last time i talked to adam even i can tell he was bsing shit to me, or he just doesn't know wat he is talking about...........wat works depends on wat you want them to do. i don't think the people you talked to are more knowledgeable about rotary powered cars then max and them. the average customer doens't know whether they got a quality rebuild, they just want the car to run, then that is a gd rebuild.....do they take the engine apart to look at before it blows? i suspect no. if they build a high hp rx7 from adam, then he will use a standalone to mask the problem. on top of it adam's employee's aren't that smart either. i saw them trying to set the tps in my car and everyone surrounded my car, and adam himself has to do it. wtf............they can't even do a simple task? go to rx7 meets to meet max and graham, etc yourself. you will realize they are very upright people and willing to help. if you really dun't feel like reading those threads, and hearing adam, and unlike him very knowledgeable people talk then feel free to ask me to post some key stuff here. i only chosed these 2 specific threads becuase the chris ng one was most recent, and the one before was related in the way the engine was badly built. the rx7 spec fan based dropped a lot compared to 2-3 years ago, but i am gonna see that it drops more. u can think of this as a customer review, u can not listen and bring your rx7 there if you want. there is always the chance adam wont' cut corners with you and wat you ask him to do he actually knows how to do it. the experiences of fellow rx7 owners are facts, if you believe that a shop can actually can do it by accident then there is nothing more for me to say........at least to you. and if you do believe it was an accident.........well accidents occuring with critical things..........that tells you something about them.

Settle down =P All I said was I'm not going to bash them since I haven't bothered to read more into it. Nobody said I was promoting them or planning to go to them in the near future, and I probably won't be taking it there if I ever need something rotary related.
It's a shame that their work isn't very good. It would be nice to have a reliable "specialty" place in the city, but oh well.
