Because, all the hard work put forth into Ver2 is going to go to waste in Ver3.
Simple as that.
Perhaps if we give Corey some free games ...

Doesn't seem worth it, you're supposed to play Initial D for enjoyment, yet you're just going to give it up like that.. O.o
I'm gonna expand into Ver3 I think. My goal of becoming a skilled player is far from complete >.<

But don't you play for fun? Starting a car just gives you something to do.

i'm pretty sure it would be fun, but theres other things to consider.
1. Money
2. Concentrating on school
3. too much effor to start up again
when v2 came out, i had to play like...2 months till i got the hang of it and started doing ta's..even tho i wasnt that good in V1, it was still a pain in the ass to move from v1 -> v2 ...and i dont want to waste my efforts again on v3, plus its 3 bucks a game, fuck it.

Well it'll go down in price ^^" Plus school isn't year round everyday stuff either.
I can understand the annoyance of having to take some time and get used to another version again, but you'd probably be happy you did it (IMO). It would give you something to do =)

If we ever do start, it'll have to be in summer.
It's just a waste of time when all your effort has gone to waste already.
Just think about it : Corey's almost a 2'33" on iro, yet, when ver3 hits here, people will be hardpressed to do 2'59".
All the skill that has been learned over the past 5 months will have been lost.
