The Secret to Irohazaka

Basically you're trying to cut as must of the corner as possible eliminating much of the track as you can.
Because less distance = less distance to travel = faster times.
And heres that iro jumping pic

Should they be taken in 4th? Or is that fairly hard to do?

Also remember, the 5th (or 6th) jump of this course, the one right after the consecs, that is a crucial "jump" aim very close at high speed and it will save you -0.1 at most, which is HUGE

Is the "jumps" the only place on Iro that should be used on 3rd gear?

no, depending on the car, 3rd should be used at least once in all CPs
for the ITR
1st turn in CP1 is better in 3rd
and 2 turns in CP2 require 3rd.

I take a large number of corners with a quick down to 3rd, then back to 4th gear switch when driving my Evo III ^^'.
Is 95-97 a good shift time for 3 to 4 in an Evo3?

Is 1st turn of CP1 better in 3rd? I take it in 4th, and i got a 39.5 today on CP1.
