My 1987 FC.

Brilliant Blue (formerly Red).. currently not able to pass inspection due to broken power window switch and rusted exhaust w/ tip fallen off

However, I have everything the turbo has except the engine. Lightweight hood (by almost 2kg!) with the badass scoop, HKSperformance air intake, 16" wheels (as opposed to the shitty looking 15"), side skirts, power windows (o.. this actually is a detraction!), and best of all

NO POWER STEERING + NO ABS I love it.

As far as the FD/RSX Type S argument goes, there isn't any question and FD is better. You sink the same amount of money into an FD as you would buying a Type S and I guarentee with the right upgrades it will run amazing. The problem is most people just upgrade their exhaust and street port their engine without first upgrading the cooling of the FD. Replace all of the wiring, coolant systems, fluids and you add about 15-30 HP from just that, plus you have an extremely reliable FD that won't have the common problems that you run into, plus it's faster and handles like a dream.

An RSX is just what the Integra was - a second-grade sports car that doesn't have a very high ceiling. Even the best engine swaps/ports/supercharger/turbo additions only have gotten to the 300/350/400 HP range. I've seen FC's with more horsepower put on the ground than that, just go to RX7club.com, you've got 450-550 hp FCs being sold. It's a good luxury car that gives you a great sports feel, but in terms of performance there isn't even a comparsion fellas.

If his birthday is in 78, that makes him 26 this year, so it's entirely possible. I just wanted to check out his rides =D
