new story (yay)
just got back from ec, man i was not having fun. it could have been that i was hungover from last night, or ill from drinking on an empty stomach, or i could even blame it on having a cold (or a combination of all, but thats not the point). anyways, even uphill snow TA's were just frustrating, and watching the guy next to me in his r34 getting pwned by Zack on akina downhill on LotS, was just making things worse. so i decided to battle swift, big mistake. i almost lost my pride and joy aura twice. (got it back by fishing him to uphill snow...twice.) after that i worked on my capp and beat bunta on myogi...again. (4 stars now i think). next i decide to give snow one more chance. got to cp1 and was losing to my time by a mere 0.083 secs, so i decided to keep going cuz when i set tht record i had a slow cp3. got through the Lhod and cp2 with the whole race so far clean, i was beating my record by 1.274 secs until i fcked up my line and raped the wall. i was pissed. actually thats an understatement, although i did show some restraint as asuma knows how mad i gt at myself for screwing up. lol. anyway, back to the story. so im down to my last game and im thinking to myself, if i dont do this now im gonna quit ID. now just try to understand i love playing ID, more than i like beer. considering i overcame a moster hangover/food poisoning to play. now thats die hard. allright so i start my run and i decide to use an acceleration technique of gassing towards the apex instead of tapping the brakes around the smaller hairpins. suprisingly a big payoff by getting to cp1 beating my time by .1 secs and head off to the consec hairpins. i tap on the second one but the last two are clean and im out, flying so damn fast (well fast for snow). i take the next hp flawlessly and same with the Lhod. (beating my time now by 1.4x secs) now for the tricky part. the upcoming couple of turns are kinda hard if your line is even slightly off. but me, being not so much of a master as b but still a master in my own right, i take it perfect. exit speed 136. heading into the s-turns i tap the wall on the first hp (too much brake, not enough traction) but took the next one clean. next hp was easy, double down shift to 4th (GDB) tap the brake up shift to 5th and im out clean. the last part is easy all the way to the finish line. finished with a 3'34'385.
