Poker Questions-got any?

Just cause i know this is the big thing right now and maybe some people who are new to the game can be helped ^_^

now im not to new to it but here is a hard question

how do you play against someone who doesnt care if they win or loose?

like they are willing to give away there chips (but arent aloud to)
but for some reason is getting good cards?

i played someone like this today it was extremely frusterating

one because they woldnt raise the blinds when going 1v1
two they didnt care wheather they won or lost, which means all scare tactics are out the window
3 because they arent paying attention but are still managing to win ex: you have a strait , they get a flush on the river (WTF!@!!!)

that is how i lost actually

any one care to give some advise?

wow, this wouldnt happen to be my twin would it. i play poker with the "dont care to win or lose" attiude, and i get some decent hands, and win some too. practicly, i play any tough competition with the dont care attitude, its just how i deal with the anxiaty and stress.

reverse phycology, try the same thing he is trying with you. you might come out strong, might not, just let fate take over.

a couple of weeks ago in ashville, i was bunked with some guys and he had a nice poker deck with the chips n everything. i didnt know what i was doing, and didnt care, and with that i won with some good pots. one game i won with a PAIR OF THREES!!! he got so mad and was saying "you guys are pethetic, you let him win with a pair of threes, you guys sux so much, im and so disapointed in all of yea'll." pretty funny.

Heh... to beat people like that, you play with real money. The blinds have to go up, or it isn't poker! Just ignore what they are doing, and play on good hands. Play tight, chances are they bluff a lot, but with a non-caring attitude, chances are also that they will bluff when you have a half decent hand, meaning you will win. As for that flush on the river, it happens, just bad luck -_-. Take mental notes if they bluff a lot, only play on good hands, etc.. If you play with them enough, you will probably be able to predict their hands.

try wearing a tribal mask when you play, or have two bouncers behind you with a "as soon as you snap your fingers boss, im gonna rip this guys head clean off" look on their face, or you can try brining a large rock with you and tell everyone at the table they are not to look at the rock, mention the rock or touch the rock under any circumstances. thats how you scare somebody away from not caring

Don't bet until the river, if he bets and you have a hand call. If you raise, he'll just raise you back. Play the nuts and you have him. Pretty simple really just tighten up.
